Your inability to understand how to save is what depleted it. Many took a beating during the Great Recession but we recovered. I didn't blame Bush 43 although that recession started in 2007. Trump tried to ignore the pandemic. Everything going on economically now can be traced to it.

But did you see her getting angry the day after the election when somebody said it was not over, then getting mad several other times when somebody said Trump could still win? I will never forget when they caught her on screen going off when somebody said the election was not over, and she had no clue she was on air. To quote Sandra what are they talking about, we already called it for Biden. For some odd reason she seemed personally offended at the thought that Trump could win before all the votes were even counted. No doubt she voted for Biden, so she is just reporting on what she voted for. The other person at FOX that seemed offended by the thought of Trump winning, and now talks bad about Biden, when I would bet my last dollar they voted for Biden, is Tucker Carlson. I still remember less than 24 hours after the first vote was counted, Tucker literally told Trump supporters to 'shut up Trump lost'. The best thing Sandra Smith ever did on FOX News was sit on the couch on the show Outnumbered. She was so hot on that show.

This is insanity!...In The 80' s my husband and I before we married we had a kid when he was finishing college. I was working to help with the bills and he had some side jobs. On one occasion it was getting hard for us and I asked the gov for help and to my horror the social worker suggests to leave my fiance at the time and that would help me to get assistance from the Gov. I got upset and I told her that he was the father! And she said the only thing she could do was giving for me and my kid $60 dollars in food stamps. I never forget I told my mother " This Gov don't care about the family to rise together and prosper, they want us to depend from the Gov only " at the time were the Democrats working at the House. They never help the middle class and they got worst.

At 03:00 -- "I don't see any signs of prices coming down..." The end of inflation doesn't mean lower prices. It just means that prices are not continuing to rise. Many items with inflated prices will never come down, and some items will. Like gasoline goes up and down all the time, as do commodities like wheat and lumber. But it is unlikely that wage hikes due to inflation will go down. All those higher wages guarantee that many products will remain more expensive than they used to be.

that's the evil nature of high inflation. They say the inflation rate is now only 6%. but the prices already went up over 10% in one year. this has been going on for 18 months now. IT doesn't go back down. So everything is higher. Clothes, food, rent, mortgage, furniture, cars, health insurance, etc. So everyone's standard of living has gone down unless they got a new job /promotion/ of over 10% salary.

The Democrat party has big business hooked on big government. It's called corporatism. The thing they don't tell you about that carburetor is that it was used on a very small engine on a very light car with bicycle wheels and it wouldn't go very fast even with the carb wide open and it was on a closed track. My family were car guys and explained it all to me about 60 years ago. Being skeptical of everything, I checked up on them and it makes good engineering sense. If that's what you want, buy a recumbent bike and put a model airplane engine on it and never use the brakes. Take out lots of life insurance.

I keep hearing people get this wrong - prices don't go down when inflation ends. They just stop rising at such a quick rate. "Inflation is going down" means "Prices will rise at a lower rate in the future, but they will still rise". Remember, inflation isn't a measure of the change in the value of the dollar, it's a measure of the change in the price of goods/services (purchasing power per dollar).

“This first stage of the inflationary process may last for many years. While it lasts, the prices of many goods and services are not yet adjusted to the altered money relation. There are still people in the [p. 428] country who have not yet become aware of the fact that they are confronted with a price revolution which will finally result in a considerable rise of all prices, although the extent of this rise will not be the same in the various commodities and services. These people still believe that prices one day will drop. Waiting for this day, they restrict their purchases and concomitantly increase their cash holdings. As long as such ideas are still held by public opinion, it is not yet too late for the government to abandon its inflationary policy. But then finally the masses wake up. They become suddenly aware of the fact that inflation is a deliberate policy and will go on endlessly. A breakdown occurs. The crack-up boom appears. Everybody is anxious to swap his money against "real" goods, no matter whether he needs them or not, no matter how much money he has to pay for them. Within a very short time, within a few weeks or even days, the things which were used as money are no longer used as media of exchange. They become scrap paper. Nobody wants to give away anything against them. It was this that happened with the Continental currency in America in 1781, with the French mandats territoriaux in 1796, and with the German Mark in 1923. It will happen again whenever the same conditions appear. If a thing has to be used as a medium of exchange, public opinion must not believe that the quantity of this thing will increase beyond all bounds. Inflation is a policy that cannot last. @@uncleogrimacy If you're talking about federal grants, yes. Local expenditures shouldn't be funded by the federal government. Aside from the Constitutional issues, it's ridiculously wasteful. You send a dollar to Washington. They spend 40 cents of it on bureaucrats who you then get to beg for 60 cents of it back. Seems pretty stupid to me.

If you want people hooked on being all about the government, you should make the government worth following and believing in. When you ignore many issues just because of greed, corruption and ignorance, you make everyone lose faith. Crime, illegal anything's all across America, using better tech to make our lives far better and so much more. We already have the tech needed to make it all happen. We just have to actually use it and use it correctly.

@@tempusername-l5d democracy has been getting twisted and smeared for years now. We need true leaders to do what's right and restore people's faith in it. I just don't want to see America or the world fall to ignorance and laziness. We have what we need to make everything far better, we just aren't using it. It's frustrating to witness.
