I've put so many hours into Sandrock on PC and it's one of my favorite games. I love the time and effort they put into the game, and I'm glad they updated the switch version so more people can enjoy it! Always love your videos.

I don’t exactly see how great the studio is if they aren’t putting effort into cleaning up the Switch port; 2 ports to be exact! I want to like this studio, but this isnt a good look; for years now

I got it on switch just because I was so impressed they even made the attempt, and because i prefer to have physical copies of games where possible. For me, the slow menus were frustrating, but the worst thing was that the museum and research centre would often just straight up vanish, and you would have to wait for them to load- only to discover that you had been standing in the middle of the building and now the whole thing was glitching! I think it says a LOT about this game that despite all the issues, I still played through the entire story. I don't know that I'm ready to replay it again so soon, but I'm pleased to know that when I do the game will be greatly improved!

We've made a lot of improvements and addressed issues like frame rate, pop-in, and loading times. We believe this is the best-performing version yet, and we really hope players will enjoy a smoother experience. It's what players were hoping for at launch-definitely worth giving it a try now!

The updates made such a big difference, and the more I rewatch the footage the more I notice it. Definitely worth picking up on the Switch now if you have no PC!

One game I so badly want to get back to playing is this one, but with my PC, the lag was horrendous for some reason when the full game launched, making it unplayable for me. I do plan to get the Switch version, but I was waiting for it to get improved in the performance section because I did hear about all of the problems. So it looks like the Switch version is decent at least. Thanks for taking the time to update us on this. Maybe by the time I do get the game again, it'll be even better.

I can’t wait to get my time at sandrock this year because I see a lot video of it a lot now & seeing doctor fang cry hit me so hard & he been through so much after his mother passed away when he was a little kid & i know that feels because my grandma passed away last year on Sunday November 26 2023 & it was two weeks after my 23 birthday & it was very hard for me right now & i know deep in my heart that my grandma is now in heaven watching over me in my heart & in heaven no matter what

Since Coral Island hasnt come out yet and ive been thinking of getting Sandrock or Rune Factory 5. But heard that Sandrock performed badly on switch but then recently heard of the update so ive been waiting for people to cover it. Now i think im getting it but when i have the money for it.

If you haven't ever tried other RF or haven't buy any on switch, RF3s & RF4s is way better.

I had a switch before and bought Sandrock day one, I had 130 hours of playtime and even though I love the game, we can't deny that it has a rough start on switch. But I'm glad switch owners will enjoy this game. I sold my switch and bought a Steam Deck because of this game alone 😂 Never regret my decision.

The developers did such an amazing job updating this game! Still happy I picked it up on the steam deck for my birthday, because it looks gorgeous with the oled screen, but I’m so happy for more people to be able to play this game, it’s so much fun

Thanks dude, I do have a good PC laptop but I'm a parent and don't have a lot of time playing that game. Or most of games lol. I'm thinking of getting a steam deck down the line. I have more time and can play handheld better. Will they ever fix the lag spikes at my time at Portia? I have it on the switch and 😢wow wish they optimized better.

I know they patched Portia sometime last year I think, I don't know when's the last time you tried but it might be better now? I doubt they'll do much more to it in the future however.

@@PlatinumCyGirl Always google research games before you buy, my time at portia is notoriously bad on switch, nintendo never does refunds but they refunded a lot of people for it because it was that bad

Yes, it's entirely separate from the singleplayer mode! There is no story but still has a lot of content and things to do!

I played this game well in early release, and I didn't have hardly any problems with it. Truly a great game with a large scope. Can't wait to throw money at their next project. As long as it isn't a phone game.

Sur switch ce n'est pas très beau, surtout si on compare à la xbox qui se rapproche du pc.
