Looking good Phil , as for prices to day it’s enough to put us out in the garden, I have stopped buying unless I see a real bargain on e bay , those freight cars look good at the back on the 47

Oh Dave you are so right, found a Blue/Grey Gresley teak buffet by Hornby R4468 on EBay with postage £100 !!!!!!!!!!!!!! not even new. Cheers Phil.

Great to see the layout again Phil. i like the OBA's, they are a nice addition to the freight stock. Are the Mk1 coaches Bachmann? They are very nice and look well coasting through the station & over the bridge. Take Care & All the best.....Andy

Hornby did release their gresley buffet car in blue/grey I have one R4468 but they are going for nearly £100 on a certain auction site .

I went today toy fair this last weekend, Didn`t manage to get as much as last time but one trader was doing all his old coaches at £4.50 I did get a couple of LNER suburbans. at that price I was tempted to get a few blue Br one`s for spares

Your mk1 coaches are looking good. Some of the second hand prices are frightening but you can occasionally find the bargains, it depends who else is after what your looking for.😉

Thanks for your comment, I think the shortage is due to those of us that were around trains in the early 70s !! the detailing of some of the early Bachmann coaches were good enough for me. Cheers Phil.
