@@AllensTrains Thanks I try to entertain it's never going to be perfect so fun is the order of the day. Alas Penfound bit the bullet when we moved from No12 to No13 !!! and the only option was a shed, have fun cheers Phil.

@@regwarne13 My situation is the reverse case of yours. When we moved here, the layout could go in the spare bedroom, which might as well be a shed, as it has been built onto the house as an extension. I find a problem with this location is that bright sunlight causes everything on the layout to fade!

SUPERSONIC WINDS - ECHOES OF THE "CATACLYSMS" ??? 18,000mph winds ! Ugh no, planet Earth hasn't suffered supersonic winds (in the region of 1,000-2,000 mph) since the "Cataclysms" of 6,000-8,000 years ago, when the inner solar system was disrupted by the arrival of another planet. (Ref: Professor Velikovsky "Worlds in Collision") published by the science publisher Macmillan back in 1950. Which led to the launching of the "new" Electric Universe & Plasma Universe Models of the Universe's true workings. In competition with the now 200 year old (and horribly outdated) Gravity Model !!! Indeed Diesel Hydraulics of Class 22, were also incapable of supersonic speeds ! Even less likely to obtain supersonic speeds, were the Diesel mechanical "Bubble Cars" ! Indeed whenever I went near a "Bubble Car" the damn things used to usually conk out with engine failure. Much preferred driving the Southern Region Hampshire Diesel Electric units, which had a proper Engine in an Engine room. In Model form the Bachmann SR DEMU model suffered from having an obtrusive mechanism that extended needlessly into the first compartment, which I rebuilt to remove that problem !!!
