Went today. This place is amazing and I can’t believe it’s free, I’d pay to ride here it’s that nice, best fun I’ve had on my bike in a long time, the black run is so nice and you can put some speed down and get floaty

It's about time local areas were invested into to give people somewhere to go without having to constantly pay all the time.

This is only 20 mins up the road from me and I'm yet to check it out!! There's a break in the weather tomorrow so think I might have to shoot over there in the morning.... Hopefully the constant downpours of the last couple of days haven't affected the trails too badly 😬

The rain was causing a few issues when we were there. A couple of soggy bits appearing. Let’s hope they head back and fix a few of the issues before winter.

It looks like the site was a golf course before they put the trails in. Similar to the trails at Northampton. Let’s hope they look after them.

Doesn't look like that anymore, with the rain and surrons the Red is destroyed. Went on Sat (28th) Advise going in a group and avoid it completely if there is large groups of lads with balaclavas on. The park is great, the area nearby is a sh!thole.

Thats a shame to hear. yeah there were a group of undesirable looking lads kicking around thr tree area with a suron when we were there. Its a real shame because the trails will last a year before they are compleatly unrideable.

😂😂Grow a pair buddy, jesus 😂😂 I went yesterday, there were around 20 lads there, surrons and balaclavas. Just a bunch of bike loving lads mate. Nothing to be deterred by. You might get some compliments if your bike is sick but that's about it. Good crowd👍🏽

And before you say 'they're destroying the trails with the surrons', there were plenty of grown men riding with those overly wide tyres on doing just as much damage, the kids are barely using throttle on the way down these trails they aren't ripping them up. If I'd of had a surron at that age I'd be doing exactly the same! Can't even imagine how much fun that must be at that age😂

I think it must have been deer or something. We had a good look and the prints don’t have horseshoes on so I don’t think it was on done on purpose. Definitely not ideal though.

If you are local it is a good place to experience. The blue trail is compleatly rollable and I saw plenty of beginners and kids trying it. I wouldnt travel a long distance to get there though, because ther are only a couple of trails, and beginners tend to just ride the blues, which might get a bit boring after a while.

You need a hill for downhill..... This is what back in the day got called a BMX track.

Yeah it’s not exactly Dyfi bike park but it is a good place to go to play on a few jumps.

You’re not really dialled, just pencilling and relying on speed to get you over with actually no other ability to maintain control if that doesn’t work. When you’re to slow you should pop more to compensate, when going to fast you should absorb the momentum into you. When doing hips you should aim high and turn your bike towards the landing, you just go over the inside straight again. Pencilling your way through. You have no flair and you ride like you’ve got arthritis in every joint. You should learn to loosen up because when it all goes wrong or there was an unexpected breeze, people like your self just panick and eat dirt, you’re just an accident waiting to happen with all the gear.
