When I first heard Sandwich, it was way ahead of it’s time. but much to our senses, we knew their songs will become tirelessly timeless. The groove, Mongs uncanny method of playing. The laid back bass of Myrene, Diego’s apologetic rhythm, Mike’s implosive drums and distinct sound you can point out it’s him tapping. Rayms Hip-Hop influence and no non-sense song writing. No matter how long the mileage are. They know the grip, that’s why no matter how many throws, they still stand the test of time. with love and comfort of their sound. We’re still around.
