marc abaya is the pepper in sandwich while raymund is the salt.... the band's perfect seasoning. honestly, i don't like the way they sound now but hey, they've evolved. it's all salt now (or maybe im just being salty). i miss the mix of heavy, hiphop, pop and the dual vocals of sandwich.

both have their own influences... and those influences are the one they're doing to the band. Raimund is like doing mixed of new wave, progressive rock, indie rock, etc... to their musics, while on Marc it was like alternative rock, progressive rock/soul, pop rock, etc... comparing their voices, iba ang landi ng boses ni Marc Abaya sa boses ni Raimund when he was back at original Sandwich line-up and until now... Hearing this Butterfly Carnival again with Marc got a big goosebumps around my body. Nandun parin yung chill and twist ng boses ni Marc. Marc Abaya is the Lenny Kravitz of Philippines. Just my opinion. 😅
