Well hello, I do everything from bookbinding to gel printing water coloring, card making and taking your classes which I have taking more then any other person out there. I am ding the stamp pattern class now and having a good time even when I do it wrong and have to do it over which is just another way of doing it again. My health is cancer ( metastatic breast cancer) so I get having to pay bills my pills is crazy but I do what I can to keep my sanity and doing your classes help me and you so it’s a win win when I take a class. I’m in Bellflower California and I love art and all you do. Thanks so much for being you. Your the best

Sandy, I don’t even know where to start. First I want to say, What an incredible blessing that you’ve been given to be able to lay down at the alter, a huge struggle that you’ve had for years and on top of that, you’re here, being your real self and just laying out what your struggle has been and where your need is now. I am so proud to call you my sister in Christ. What a giant step in allowing your friend to come help tear your mountain down. We look back at some of our (self made suffering, [speaking of myself], and when Yeshua steps in and forces us to deal with it, we look back and wonder why it took me so long. P.S. I’m thinking of some of my own needs to work through here as well. What courage you have shown to be transparent and reaching out to your (God given) community to allow us to come walk along side you. Thank you. Now…so many choices to decide upon, but count me in Sandy. At 68, I’ve been blessed to still be able to work and this is my busiest time of year. I clean vacation rentals and I have one in 90 mins. But I will be back and look at all my choices to help you build up your nest egg…for such a time as this. Blessings to you and praying for you❤

Thank you so much Sandy for always being you, for being transparent. It’s hard to reach out in a world that’s so callous many times. My friend has struggled and her choices have made her journey harder. Now she is making a choice that will not be the wisest she can do sigh. I was able to help motivate her. I’ve prayed a lot it’s been six years. Life can be discouraging at times. I’ve had to put my trust in the faith that God waists me to rely on him. If we’re obedient he will supply not always when we want but he will. I will be praying for that regarding your physical need I know he’s got the answer already prepared. He promises to provide abundantly shaken together pressed down and running over. Malachi 3:8-12 promises it as well.

I have been where you stand! Feb. the carpet had to be replaced...yep pets...and I had to have non insured eye surgery. I had become legally blind in one eye. Totally wiped out our fund too! And to make things even more similar I too have SO MUCH STUFF and I've been deowning everything I possibly can! It is so freeing and I feel such joy in the living with less!! God is so good and He will supply all our needs! He has not failed us yet! Trust and Obey...part of OBEY is TRUST!!! Let folks help...if you don't let them He has a way of providing so many "opportunities" for you to have to. I signed up for ArtVenture and a class! I am going to see if we can up the Patrion we already have for you. Anyway, I go to prayer group every Wed and we will lift you up together to the Lord of Lord and King of Kings! God is with you Sandy...never forget that!!! Much love from Alabama and deepest thanks for all you do!

I am so thankful for your openness and honesty. Life has come at me hard and I can’t tell you how much I needed this encouragement today. Thank you so very much! As for art mediums, I’m a dabbler. I enjoy many different ones. My tops would be needle arts, mostly cross stitching, but hand appliqué, knitting and quilting are close behind. I’m in love with watercolor although I consider myself a beginner, I’m learning. I enjoy card making especially the messy kind like with my gel plate and mixed media gear. I love this. Could you talk about places to save on art supplies or what people spend on that they don’t need. I know you have nice supplies but I also know that if I had saved and not had a lot of mediocre supplies I could easily have nice ones. It’s just hard to know getting started when everyone recommends different things.

Hi i am an artist and live in virginia beach, va. When i started I used acrylic decoart paint. Taught tole painting/decorative painting. Took a few oil classes and went back to my acrylics. Taught beginner classes and then onto intermediate and some advanced classes! Then colored pencils took me over! That is what I currently love in addition to my cardmaking. My husband and I are both retired. Thinking I may be willing to teach a small class with colored pencil, when I have time!!!!!

Btw, have you ever considered a human rainbow class for colored pencils? I don't have/can't afford alcohol markers, but I do have Prismacolor pencils. I struggle with finding color combinations for different hair colors & skin tones. Just a thought. That is a class I'd really be interested in. :)

Now I comprehend why you went into a flurry when your sister was coming. I have been a patreon for several years and intend to stay. My finances are a bit of a mess with the current times. I am living with extreme rheumatoid arthritis and my house burned in 2019, which took care of a lot of sorting and donating but raised the issue of insurance listing and replacement. My college art projects couldn't be replaced, only remembered. I will quit whining now. Allowing people in your home again is a fantastic good mental health move. I will continue to support your journey as I am able. My granddaughter has to watch out for macular degeneration, take care of your eyes they can't be replaced. Prayers for all the happenings.

Sandy, first off, I so totally relate to your flooring situation. I know that's probably a funny thing to start with, but let me explain. Several years ago, we had a cat who refused - for whatever unknown-to-us reason - to use the litter box. Because we live on a busy street where cats have been killed, we have kept our cats indoors only for many years. So we never even considered making her an outdoor kitty. We had carpet in 3 of our bedrooms, the living room, & dining room, and she did her thing on all but 1 bedroom carpet! (That bedroom belonged to my brother, and he kept his door closed.) Finally, like yours, it became unbearable. My brother & his best friend tore out the carpet in the living & dining rooms. We had hoped the hardwood we have in our halls would be underneath, but it was just pine subfloor. So we bought a lot of peel-n-stick vinyl tiles, & my brother & I went to work laying them. It was a JOB, but we got it done! Mama & I later did the same in my room. When my brother moved out & we turned his room into our craft room, we fortunately found hardwood flooring under his carpet. So now, Mama's bedroom & our office are the only rooms with carpet. That cat has long since gone to the Rainbow Bridge, but whenever one of our current brood gets sick or something, we always say, "Why did we ever have carpet?" LOL I can also, sadly, relate to the financial hits you've taken. Over the past few months, we had to get a new fridge, new HVAC unit, new car when Mama's 15-year-old Kia died, & now a new ABS module for our van. Plus, we learned we need a new roof due to hail damage, & are arguing with the insurance company over that now. Anyway, I am not trying to one-up you - just know you are NOT alone. I wish I could help you! I hope things do go well for you. I'll pop over to your class site & see if there's anything there that interests me. I live on disability, & Mama is retired on her pension and Social Security, so.... But I hope my rooting for you is helpful. I don't personally believe in intercessory prayer (long story), but I will send as many virtual bear hugs as you can tolerate. Anyway, good luck with replenishing your savings.
