I love this movie, and the intro song as well. If I remember correctly, "Enter Sandman" was licensed for a WWF event so Carpenter couldn't use it. But now both songs exist, which is just better for all 😁

Well, having been highly critical of the superficial, leftie baiting insight on Inside No.9 from the boys, Harry has absolutely raised his game on this and I thought his thoughts were a marked improvement. You remain as soothing and brilliant as ever, Proper Horrorshow.

Cheers, I wasn't sure how well a duo commentary would go but I really enjoyed making this. As such, 3 more are in the works! On the Inside No.9 front, I thought the season 9 opener was as fascinating as it was infuriating. I really want to explore it in some depth, though finding the time might be tricky.

Not that I matter much in the universe, but is it OK to do a full length commentry on a video like this from a copyright perspective? Is this some kind of wormhole that I was unaware of?

It's a fair question - What I do in all commentaries (except for the first trial, Pet Sematary (1989)) is give my own original commentary and include a distorted, inaudible version of the film. My own audio is fine as it's totally original. The distorted version of the film is the tricky bit - to be covered by the Fair Use exemption to Copyright Law, you have to substantially transform the content - i.e. yours cannot substitute for the other. So, if someone wanted to enjoy this film without paying and so watched this video, they would not have the same experience, wouldn't be able to repeat dialogue, hear the music etc. I could exclude the video entirely, but I think it helps people synch up their copies of the film which they should play alongside this commentary. If they're really familiar with the film, they could just use this to jog their memory, but I wouldn't advise it. I hope this overly long reply helps! 😅
