Ic and transistor has same sound clarity if it is properly biased . Ic has power limitations. Higher power amplifier comes from transistor. nowadays linear MOSFET are available made fur amplifier. I recommend transistor over MOSFET. But for class D MOSFET is good for efficiency.

U can ...only problem is the charging dynamo . It should have enough current rating. New battery may take more current
