Thanks for your video. It gave me the confidence to unblock my Saniflo Compact that was making a very strange noise after my wife threw a hand wipe into it. I found the wipe tangled on the impeller. Greetings from U.K.

Thanks Russell! It’s always nice to hear that my video helped someone out there. Spending money on a thing like that really sucks. Greetings from Stockholm Sweden

Hi from the UK. Thank you for making this video and explaining it so well (with subtitles)! I was able to take our Saniflow Compact apart to remove baby wipes. Now all connected back up and flushing without issue. Waiting a couple of days before applying the silicone. Thanks!

Hi. Thank you for uploading the video it gave me a good head start. After investigation it was a build up of lime scale in the non return valve pipe. But I am now, no longer dreading a blockage as it is so simple to repair. In regards to blockages I have had none in two years of ownership. Just limescale build up in said pipe. I will be using saniflo descaler every two months to prevent this. Thanks

Good luck my friend! Make sure the kids participate so they know what kind of problem they create if they make the mistake again :-). I have three teenagers and thankfully the problem has not re-occurred. I’m keeping my fingers crossed hoping it will stay that way :-)

Hoping your video guide will help with the issue of continuous self flushing of our SaniCompact. It started doing this a few weeks ago, after nearly a year without issues. At first it simply did it a few times after each use. Now, it's non-stop. Saniflow discaler did not help. We simply stop the water, for now. Turning it back on when needed ... Fingers crossed, encouraged by your video to peek inside our Sani Compact ...

Hello, before opening the toilet I would try to disconnect the electrical connector to make sure it is not an electrical issue. Wait 10 minutes and plug in again. A bit like a computer reboot. The flushing button is electrically controlled if I remember correctly. otherwise I can imagine that it's a fault with the water level sensor that flushes when it senses the water level is increasing and the next step is the inflow of water where an automatic shut-off valve might be messing up. Good luck!

@mr_fix Done the "reboot" several time with no change in behaviour. Flushing with hot water seemed to have done a very temporary change. Sometimes, multiple flushing also does stop the continuous flushing. But very random. I'm also thinking some sort of level sensor caught in something which should not of gone in toilette. I'll check the outlet and such first. However, I might have to take it a part and check the inside ... so your video becomes a grrat help.

Well, the blade was very clean. The port to the sensor was not. Taking the assembly to a sink with a jet wand, I was able to clean the port (as best as I could). Lots of stuff came out. Checked everything else. Unfortunately, my sanicompact still does a continuous flush. It stops only when water inflow is turned off. I suspect either the sensor or the valve controlling the flow of the fresh water. Listening to the cycling, it keeps refilling as if I had flushed again instead of the usual "click" of a stop valve (or whatever stops cycling). If I can find the parts, identified "33" (sensor assembly) & "28" (water valve), I will replace. Not certain I can find the parts here in Canada ...

I think you will be able to find it online. Here in Stockholm Sweden Saniflo are very helpful with basically everything. Give them a call. They can probably tell you what’s wrong and what needs to be changed.

The "I dont know what that is it isnt connected" piece is an air admittance tube, let's air flow into the unit to aide in pushing things through the pump, but prevents any odors from traveling out.

Thanks mate, I was wondering what the heck it was, and now I’ve come a tad bit closer to my little guestroom toilet. :)

Hi, thinking of getting this Saniflo but seems an awful lot of trouble if it gets blocked, how long have you got it and how often did you have to unblock it….paul

Can the blockage be taken out by a toilet drano acid?can't really take it appart by myself and the plumber charges an arm and a leg
@mr_fix2 жыл бұрын
I wouldn’t count on, it the impeller is made of metal and I don’t know If exposing it to acid is the right way to go unfortunately.

Does the quimic work for this? So I don't need to dismantle the all toilet? Thanks
@mr_fix3 жыл бұрын
Depends on what is stuck in the toilet grinder. If it can dissolve quick maybe yes. But remember there are plastic parts so check the product info. If there is a blockage in the toilet there is something in the grinder that shouldn’t be there that might not dissolve.

När jag väl listat ut vilken kniv jag skulle använda för att få bort silikonen så skulle jag säga 30-40 minuter
