Hi, Chef. Does it matter when you throw the vegetables in the pot? I always thought putting vegetables in a boiling water they do not lose all their flavor, but if you throw them in a cold water then as the water warms up all the flavors and nutrients are slowly transferred into the water?
@lexi_20213 жыл бұрын
I'll try it both ways.
@90skalaunda8 ай бұрын
simply make the soup. add veggies, put water, boil them for 20 minutes. your soup is ready and the boiling that we would have done separately has already been done in our soup process. simple. time, gas and efforts all saved..

Dear Harpal Singh ji I made stock with star anise bay leaf and few cloves black cardamom, and few green gardamom I didn't have celery so I added few floret of brocolli with its root. 1 carrot, 1 potato few cabbage and few stalk of coriander with leaves. I also added zeera and coriander seeds were not there so I didn't add. But stalk became black. Where was I wrong. Reply me soon. Thanks rims1
@missstranger51606 жыл бұрын
Rupali Malhotra don't add zeera...just use pepper and bay leaf...and boil it on medium flame...even don't put ginger and garlic... that is what I know about stock making..

@@pinkheart315 hi ....I know it's very late....but in case someone else come across it... No bay leaf won't make it spicy.... And if u r too sensitive to any chilli ... U can avoid it as well.... It's not ur end product anyway...so if u decide u want pepper u can add it in ur main dish ...

Bay leaf and papper corns will give nice aroma to your stock it will not make spicy and we are not going to crush black papper corns so don't worry. 🙂
