This is such a beautiful piece of art. You captured the heartbreakingly human dichotomy of Sanji being being both worthless and priceless to different people, and how being worthless in his most tender years had been so deeply ingrained into him that it echoes in him at the current era, and the real sublime catharsis of him overcoming that with patient love by those worthy to be in his life. The sad, aching nostalgia paired with the helplessness during WCI really lets the audience FEEL the one, long traumatic emotional flashback he was experiencing throughout the arc. A perfect example of why he's my favorite character. A+, thank you!

I literally just found this channel, and I’m so glad I did. This AMV is amazing. It’s so good. Sanji is my favorite character in One Piece, and I feel so lucky that there are so many good edits with him. This just goes to show that action scenes can absolutely work in an AMV when there’s more to it than just the fight, and Sanji was the best character to do that with. Sanji is an emotionally complex character with so much to unpack that his generous amount of screen time makes him an actual goldmine to explore on an emotional level. Sanji’s a character that’s made for AMVs like this and other good ones I’ve found in the past. I love the emotion of the song you’ve chosen. It really added to the feelings the visuals conveyed. It’s clear you have a masterful understanding of how music, lyrics, and visuals work together to convey story and emotion. The ending sequence of Sanji choosing to be himself and breaking the raid suit was all the more impactful thanks to the music and editing. My personal favorite bit was when the mask broke. The music went perfectly with that. And the final scenes of Reiju, Sora, and Zeff were beautiful. Perfectly conveys the significance of that decision Sanji made. Absolutely love this AMV. It was a perfect way to end and start the new year.
