Modified borish delayed method. May be this is equivalent of modern optical fogging method

Borish delayed fogs the patient with plus of about NRA value. It is a fog no doubt, however, this uncovers (relaxes) accommodation completely.

Modified borish delayed method when done as described in literature is helpful in diagnosing accommodative spasm specifically having 30minutes of fogging involving 2 phases, distance and near. It can be called as a modified fogging technique as unlike conventional method of fogging, here we fog for 30minutes!
