When I went to Joshua Tree, I ran into a woman who said she once fell into a hug with a barrel cactus!! Needless to say, she went to the hospital. Anyway, hydrocolloid bandaids are a lifesaver - they stay on in water, and you can remove them when fully healed. Happy healing
