Different_Stages * Different_Characters * Rules = Possibilities Or 106 * 78 * 3 = 24,804 So 1 in 24,804 Btw this equation assumes stamina rule set has just as much chance of being picked as any other rule set. Which it doesn't. I would say we can safely guess that for every 100 games played you'll run into 1 stamina rule set. And I think its probably higher than that. So now its 106 * 78 * 100 = 826,800 So 1 in 826,800 But this is more guestimatiom math To figure out the rulset probability youd need to figure out how many timed, stamina, and stock games have been played on smash ultimate. And then take a ratio of total_stamina/(total_games) and then nintendo has a feature that matches you with players based on your character choice, gsp, and prefered rules. So there's a lot that would go into figure out a precise probability... but I would say its at most it's a 50/50 chance

@@pforgottonsoul you consider it irrelevant because it's been at least a whole decade since the last game got released, and it wasn't so good. And Yooka-Laylee was pretty meh as well. Banjo-Kazooie, as a video game, still shows the care and thought put by genius developers into what would become a real masterpiece. It hasn't aged that much and still plays amazingly well because it is genuinely good. Therefore it is still relevant as a platformer that inspired many others, especially considering other games from the same era such as Spyro or Crash did the same thing. Speaking of Spyro and Crash, you'd also consider them both irrelevant if they hadn't gotten their remastered trilogy. Just because a franchise doesn't get as much attention as it deserves doesn't mean they're irrelevant. In that case, you could say that King of Fighters is irrelevant as a fighting game franchise because it's not as popular as Tekken or Mortal Kombat while it actually played a huge role in video games history at some point in time. Hopefully, Terry Bogard making it into Smash will bring some attention back to his franchise, but the overall reaction to his reveal just shows that too many people think that "if we don't care about it, it's irrelevant", which is really sad.
