I've been using this same 36w grow light for nearly a year. It works great. My houseplants are thriving. My peace lilies bloom using this!

I really eat to use buy light but, but no one online shares what type of lamp; (floor lamp) they can be used with since the bulb is so heavy. Any lamp recommendations for this bulb?

You can't go wrong with these. I had 2 bulbs go out after 3 - 4 years. Sansi have a 5 year warranty. They sent me 2 brand new ones I received in like 3 days. Love Sansi.

I've been using two of the Sansi 15 watt bulbs to grow basil and lettuce and am very impressed with the results and quality of the bulbs. Unlike many of the brands on Amazon Sansi has been around for decades and is continuously improving their products.

So true, I get a lot of offers from Amazon sellers that are clearly just buying wholesale cheap units and rebranding them.

Thank you so much for this review. I really want to buy a sansi 36w bulb for my plants but was unsure about which light fixing was best, most reviews on Amazon say they can't hold the weight of a sansi bulb. Thank you for putting my mind at ease I was seriously stressing about this. Thanks again

I have Sansi clip on 4 bulb grow lights. My tomato seedlings showed noticable growth after one day. (They are in semi hydro media). I strongly recommend Sansi

@@DJSnafu That is the same problem I had when I purchased this bulb. I ended up returning it but would have loved to use it.

I have several of the smaller I think 15watt Sansi lamps they actually do get very very hot, too hot to touch. Especially at the very front of the lamp not the emitters but the ring bordering the lamp. As for light output they are phenomenal. As you commented looking at them is not a great idea. According to Sansi the 15watt is equivalent to 1kw output and I believe it. I had them too close and got light burn. At the moment my plants are growing under that pink light you mentioned from another well regarded supplier those lamps output 150w each( I think ). I will be switching to the Sansi lamps soon but I doubt I will need all 4 of them unless I grow a lot more chilies than I can eat.

How much light would I need to supplement the sunlight on a south-facing window growing pepper seedlings from Feb-April? It's just a single tray of seedlings, about 25 x 35 cm. I'm in NL, so probably same amount of light and weather as in London. Can I get away with a 15W version of this bulb?

The 15 watt Sansi lamps I use and I use three if then use less electricity than a single ordinary 100watt incandescent bulb and yes I have measured the consumption using a watt meter The three lamps actually do only use 45 watts.

Yeah but the full spectrum is today more a marketing gimmick because the color spectrum is still not that of sunlight even if it's only red an blue light the manufacturer could say full spectrum.

I bought this. The thing didn’t work even a day. It flickered from the moment that I turned it on. Then, it got so hot that the plastic from one of the lights melted and fell off. And, the whole thing stopped working. Lucky it didn’t start a fire. 🫤
