One line from Adi Shankaracharya’s Hymn “Nirvana Shatakam “, says Chidananda roopah shivoham shivoham. Shivoham = Shiva + aham ( I ), This means, I'm Shiva. Chidananda = Chitt ( soul, mind, thoughts ) + Ananda ( happiness , bliss) Roopah = form. The blissful state of me is Shiva. This means that Shiva is with me and within me, since I'm Shiva. You don't have to search for Shiva outside. Connect to your Shiva in your chitt , by meditating. When you remove Aham ( I , me and mine ) then you are Shiva.
