This is the second episode of my series if Sanskrit taxonomy. Most of the videos will be on me naming the families, subfamilies, clades, etc of various famous phylogenies of primates.

A note on the Chimpanzee and Bonibo evolution. The traditional explanation is a that the Congo river cut an existing population into two, but I found a paper that says that the Congo river didn’t cut a population into, rather some individuals crossed over to the south side when on rare ocasiona the river flow was weak:
