TODAY WATCH A VIDEO OF GREAT CLASSIC VINTAGE AMPLIFIER SANSUI 4000. THIS IS A NICE AND MOST BEAUTIFUL SOLID STATE AM/FM HI POWER AMPLIFIER / RECEIVER FROM SANSUI OF 1970. GREAT CLASSIC VINTAGE LOOK ATTRACTIVE GREEN YELLOW RED BACK LITS. TUNING AND SIGNAL INDICATING METER, FM FREQUENCY INDICATING SCALE IS SUFFICIENT TO ATTRACTS CRAZY MUSIC LOVERS. VERY BULKY AMP WITH EXTERNAL HEAT SINK GIVES 45 WATT RMS PER CHANNEL @ 8 OHMS. PHONO1, PHONO 2, AUX AND TAPE IN MONITOR IS FOR INPUTS TO PLAY TURNTABLE AND OTHER DEVICES. THIS AMP CAN DRIVE MY HUGE FLOOR STANDING HEAVY LOUDSPEAKERS EASILY WITH MIND BLOWING SOUND. MONO, STEREO, LOUDNESS AND REVERSE SOUND EFFECT IS WORKING FINE. BASS TREBLE BALANCE AND VOLUME CONTROL KNOBS ARE MOVING SMOOTHLY. AM/FM ALSO HAVE CRYSTAL CLEAR SOUND QUALITY. PHONO QUALITY IS ALSO SUPERB! THIS IS REAL GREAT VINTAGE AMP FOR ME. CAN’T BELIEVE THAT THIS IS 50 YEARS OLD. VINTAGE GEAR.

My friend wants to sell me this knowing I am an audiophile, but previously a collector and A/V store owner. I prefer the era just after this though. I am mystified why anyone would play this with the treble maxed! My guess is you're going deaf and need it set like that. I would run from the room.

I have one of these as well...got it from my dad. I want to connect my soundbar to it...I have an old record player connected to the phono inputs...problem is my new soundbar does not have a proper connection to connect to the speaker outputs on the back on the Sansui. I bough an auxiliary cable since my soundbar has that connection but this cable also does not fit into the speaker channels...is there an adapter I can get for this? Any help is greatly appreciated.
