Saint Agnes is my favorite saint and my personal choice as my patroness. I visited this basilica (Sant'Agnese fuori le mura) several times from 1987 to 2005. I loved going there especially down below at the catacombs where Saint Agnes' was buried. Her skull is preserved in a silver reliquary at the church (Sant'Agnese in Agone at the beautiful Piazza Navona) that was built where was martyred around 304 A.D. I consider myself the biggest Saint Agnes "fan" in the world. --Father Ron Escalante
