Good morning my sweet friend! Hope you've had a great weekend! I love getting in Christmas pj's and decorating! Oh yes Nicole, i know exactly what you're saying about the older we get the weaker our strength in our hands. For me my weakness is most everywhere honestly!🥴 But I have alot of trouble with my hands, i have some nerve damage from a severe case of shingles some years ago. I have neuropathy in my hands & feet. But its better than it used to be, good day & bad days.🤷‍♀️ Sweet friend I will definitely keep you in my posters my prayers! I love your island, i love the butcherblock top & the sized of it. I love Genevieve! She's A real sweetheart!😊 The kitchen looks so beautiful, bright & festive! I love everything you did & I thank you for inviting us into your gorgeous home each week & sharing all your decorating ideas, giving us motivation & inspiration for each season & holiday. I always enjoy watching you & spending time with you! And Christmas is my fav, of course! I pray you have a blessed upcoming week!🙏🏻 Love You My Friend!❤

A month ago at a antique store I found a Toledo retail scale, but, it's a smaller version than yours. It was $38. I was so happy to get it. I could not have a bigger version. I have it displayed w/a white/red basket and fake gingerbread cookies. Then I have a Baking Santa on either side. I have a a lot of Mr. & Mrs. Baking Santa's in my collection. Love your beautiful kitchen! My son was stationed in Hawaii. My husband's father was a Marine and he was stationed there also. So my husband lived there 3 yrs. as a teen-ager, learned to surf and to play a ukulele.

Your kitchen looks sooo festive. Everything is so perfectly placed. Your grandchildren will love it. I did something similar on my island. I put my red gingerbread mixing bowl on the top of my scale and added my old red handled Utensils along with a gingerbread, and some cookie cutters and a tea towel. I added just a touch of greenery. It turned out great. You inspire me in my attempts to decorate. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us.❤

Im 65, and also am experiencing a noticeable increase of weakness&fatigue….Uhg!!!! My kitchen looks to be about the same footprint as yours the same size only I have cherry cabinets I don’t have any white painted woodwork… I live in a newly built gingerbread style Victorian house nestled amongst the towering for trees in the Pacific Northwest…one of my rooms is eight sided I guess you call that it a turet???AnyWho that 8sided room has four big picture windows for watching the wildlife…back to the kitchen….Yea arent we so blessed to have such beautiful awesome kitchens.
