I suspected it. Obviously a shallow attempt to mask the truth with a poor attempt at humor. Everyone in the know understands their is no filming allowed in Santa’s workshop to prevent unscrupulous toy makers from copying Santa’s production methods. The final giveaway was showing the Martians to be green when we all know Martians are red. Very unprofessional to use Moon people to pretend to be Martians just to cut production costs.

Director Nicholas Webster directed several episodes of Leonard Nimoy's In Search Of. Vincent Beck (Voldar) was a real actor who appeared in several 70s TV series, including Mission Impossible. Ned Wertimer (Andy the Reporter) was the doorman on The Jeffersons Bill McCutcheon (Droppo) was Uncle Wally on Sesame Street And you all know what happened to Pia Zadora. She and her husband had PickFair torn down and antagonized movie fans ever since.

"...What time is it?" , "It is the middle of Septober..." - script so very bad that it becomes classic. And, as others have posted, these movies really captured a unique period in time & American culture. 1950s/1960s were the golden years of not just Hollywood, but coming of age for that generation - AKA, Baby Boomers. It's hard to explain how these cheesy early SciFi movies propelled the belief in anything being possible, science was on the cusp of rockets to the moon, and Mom/Apple Pie held top ground
@user-kt4iu5wc3c8 ай бұрын

I like this print, the colors are a lot more vibrant and pic quality is clearer. -- The movie is so cheap, cheesy and goofy... yet it still manages to be enjoyable on it's own terms. -- I think Kimar actually manages to make that stupid costume look good on him... he looks great in tights, is fairly handsome and actually adds dignity to his role. -- Since he's the King of the Martians and named "KI-Mar", I find it weird that "Momar" isn't named "Queemar" ('Queen-Martian'). Instead, she's just "Mom-Martian".
