This was me and my sisters favorite back in the 80’s when we were growing up,we were lucky enough too have a VCR and we would watch this every year,of course it was a bootleg copy that my father recorded off the T.V or something but it was still great miss those days

This movie bombed at the box office, but I thing it was better received as the years went by. For me I absolutely love this movie and I would say it's my favorite Christmas movie with A Christmas Story in second place. I love the sets for the North Pole, as they had a magical feel to it, and love the design of Santa's workshop and that was how I imagined it when I was a boy. The special effect were also great, in my opinion.
