Bought the same version but swapped my rims from my hardtail because it was definitely an upgrade other then the bike being an upgrade. Reserve 30s

Awesome man. I got the gloss ocean blue color on the same bike spec. I left everything stock except added the Fox half fender and a bash guard. I saw this cardinal red color in store but it was not available in my size. Both color ways are great this year. Overall liked the neutral of the “blue” because it’s really grey. I’m glad you like yours man I’m loving mine. I’m 6’2” and went the opposite way as you, with a size Large. I think it’s perfect. The only thing I’ll say is mine came with the RockShox dropper and it’s giving me problems already. I’ll be putting a OneUp V3 into it soon.

Im 6'2 as well tried both XL and L I think i also will go with the Large the XL has way too much room for me.

@@patriotsleepercell4060 Yeah that’s totally the right choice. I think at that height if you’re going with the XL it should be because you want a shred sled, at which point you should be looking at Megatower or bigger anyway. The L feels completely confident on big downhills for me but also nimble on the climbs. It’s pretty perfect.

@Cortezuma everyone’s different take on bike size is exactly why test riding a bike before buying is so important. It really comes down to how you feel on the bike and how the bike fits you. So many variables come in to play when sizing a bike that people don’t think of we tend to focus just on Rider height, and not look at inseam or arm length

@@DIYManiacJohnP You’re right absolutely. Plus riding preference and how comfortable you are with reach. Some people may want to be a little more upright or a little more raked out.
