Awesome video, definitely going to have to add this DVD to my collection! Who would have guessed those hi-flying GP60Ms an Dash 8-40BWs would be running out the rest of their lives in local service and most trading their warbonnet paint scheme for BNSF H3 colors 25 years later!

The Warbonnet GE 8-40 B's roared by my house with timed freights to and from Chicago. They were doing 80 mph.

No kidding? Wow. Weird seeing it as a not mangled wreck.

The Warbonnet B40-8W are my all time favorite. Some of the EMD's were smoking more than the GE's

In 1996, Atchison Topeka and Santa Fe Railway and Burlington Northern Railroad became “Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railway”

I remember that year well, wasn't easy saying goodbye to either Burlington Northern or Santa Fe as independent entities, but the alternative could have been much worse, they could have joined the ranks of SP and C&NW being absorbed into Union Pacific.
