Maybe his greatest gig he played. The scripted set list was dropped in favour of a lot of jamming and improvising. I love this gig. Wonder why he changed he entire set for just this one gig?

I have long thought about this too. Carlos lost his contract didnt he around this time. He never played this type of gig again or ,before. I have seen him many times and heard so many gigs. I dont think he ever played as freely and had so much fun as he did this brilliant rockpalast night. He is playing continually in the USA and its been the same set for every night. At his time of life why doesnt he let go of the same song and just do what he did in 98? We will never know what made Carlos break the habits of his lifetime We did see them in 78 on the last night of the entire world tour in Manchester. That night they were wild and played for three hours. They ran out out stuff to play and even took requests. An amazing gig. The previous night we saw ACDC with Bon Scott give maybe the most electrifying performance I have even seen Quite a weekend.
