LOVE those Santas! in another life, I was a machine knitter and had to buy my yarns on cones. After the yarn was done, I was left with these wonderful cones that I just cover with either plastic wrap or newspaper to form the trees around. Guess I was lucky I was kind of a yarn horder and saved all those cones! Glad you are back doing videos and wishing you the best in your next procedure! hope to see you back again real soon!

Thank you so much for sharing how you do these cute Santa' s. I already have decided to make them for 2023 Yule. Even make an "Icelandic version of them because we do have our own version of Yule lads, 13 of them, as a matter of fact. They were not as nice as the Santa Klaus,, were mischievous and naughty, but fun. Take care and get better soon!

Hi Tiffany, Ive been watching your videos on Santa's, I really love your large Scandinavian style one, I live in England and can't seem to find a bisc cone like yours could you please tell me who to contact , there's nothing on etsy. Many thanks, and thankyou for your great Ideas , have a great Christmas Xx Val
@hobblecreekpottery2 жыл бұрын
Here is the website that I order my cones from: learnfiredarts.com/shop/ols/products/12-cone-clay-puzzling-mold They do ship internationally, too. You can make your own bisque mold. You could use cardboard to make the cone then cover it with clay, make sure you use plastic or paper or knee highs for the clay to be able to release and then fire and use it as your form. Hood luck. I love Learned Fired Arts for many of their pottery tools.

Brilliant as always! I didn't realise you were having surgery again so soon! Best ofluck Tiffany. Love the tall Santa too. What size triangle did you use? Thank you 😊
@hobblecreekpottery2 жыл бұрын
Thank you. For the smaller Santa's, the triangle is 6x6x6. The larger ones I just patchworked the clay into the cone I had and smoothed it over.
@tracyholmes96052 жыл бұрын
@@hobblecreekpottery Thank you. I made a 6 incher already at your recommendation. I will make a cone then and do that. 😊
@kaymacomb83932 жыл бұрын
how exactly do you cut the craft foam 6x6x6?
@hobblecreekpottery2 жыл бұрын
I find it's easiest to start with a circle and then cut the triangle shape out of that. You can make the triangle any size you'd like. Good luck.
