Up in the mountains is The Fabulous or Ultimate Ecological Resort, which is worth a visit. I used to date a sister of the owner. I've just seen pictures and it looked fabulous.

The best hotels nearby are the Renaissance, Sheraton and Crown Plaza. Otherwise you will be in Piantini .
