Just got back from Santorini. The middle of last week, I took a photo of the timetable at the Fira bus station, now I know I could have downloaded a PDF. Got wet through on Thursday 😎

thank you so much for this Sebastien your videos have been so helpful for planning my trip! I was debating to take the bus to the ferry port (departs at noon) but it seems like it'd be tricky. Now I'm debating if I should book a shared transfer mentioned in one of your previous videos or to just ask my hotel to arrange, curious of your take? My hotel is in Oia and going through the reviews for the shared transfer it's dominantly positive for pickup at the port/airport but more mixed for pickup at the hotel. Much appreciated and looking forward to more wonderful content from you!

I'd go for a shared transfer ! Just make sure you understand where the pickup location is exactly (maybe with the help of your hotel staff) and you'll be fine !

Thank you for this Sebastien. I have 2 questions: #1 I am having a bit of trouble understanding the PDF. I am staying in KARTERADOS, apparently very close to the bus stop. Would the bus to/from the airport stop there? Or do I need to go to/from Fira? #2 Also, I want to visit MANY places on your beautiful Island...Pyrgos, Megalochori, Emporio, Oia, Imerovigli and Vlychada Beach. Is it my understanding that there isn't a daily bus pass? I don't imagine there is a cheaper way to visit all of these places even if there isn't a daily pass.

Correct, there's no daily pass. Only single tickets. Karterados is on the airport line yes, but also the Perissa line and Kamari line ! All bus lines explained here : kzbin.info/www/bejne/bWLEf3t3nth3j9E

my wife and I are trying to avoid the cable car either direction if we can. with that said is there any transportation public or private that goes back down to ammoudi and then catch a boat back to old port to get on tender ?

There's a guy who offers that ride but he's not always at the port, he doesnt have a website, so I wouldnt count on it too much.

Hi Sébastien. I'm wondering if the ferry schedule coukd work the same way in terms of adding more as the season goes on? I am planning a trip from Mykenos to Santorini in late October and the Ferry hopper website shows no ferries that day (only every other day)? Could more be added and I should just keep checking?

Direct ferries between Santorini and Mykonos stop early November, so I wouldnt be surprised if late October is only every other day ... Dont think that will change.

No it will be later than that in May. Probably 10 or 11pm.
