What time of day was that line for the cable car?! I’m hoping it won’t be that bad at 8:30 am in September. 🙈

This was at around 4pm in October. But it really depends on when the cruise ships arrive. Unfortunately you may have to wait more than 1 hour to get to Fira but you can definitely walk the stairs. It's really not that bad and you can take your time and do it slowly. You will also enjoy some stunning views the way up. They have only built a dedicated waiting area for them... they haven't stopped at all unfortunately.

@@PSTXFL hello! Are you a human, thinking ONLY ANIMALS? In my last life i was a santorini-donkey, going up & down there for years this narrow stony alley with these human crouds with their noice & smells. I was suffering so much, inside i had been crying, longing & dreaming of a better live in the nature... till my lonsome dead.. ax, i was only A STUPID DONKEY....
