The day before the storm the park was "closed"....so, ran from the cops at the trail head and set the KOM for Cow Bone out and Dr. Ruth back....all in all, we were very lucky with the storm. Plus, many of us (not OMBA) were out their busting our tails to get things picked up.

Thank you for all that hard work. I did see online that many volunteers got to work on the trails. I've cleared some trails in the mountains of West Virginia, but that doesn't come close to the amount of work needed to clear trails in Florida. I can't wait to get back down there in March!

I'm 65 and am currently at Lake Kissimmee State Park... terrain looks similar... I've ridden 20 miles here on my hardtail so far in 2 days, but I'm longing for more elevation and technical stuff... it's pretty sandy here... We stayed at Killens Pond in Felton on our way south... Hey, thanks for the comment. One of the characteristics of Santos Trails that I enjoy is there is a little more rock and roots and a lot less sand. However, right now I'm now I'm in the Appalachians and planning my Monday ride in snow. Have fun in sunny Florida!
