Arihant you must make a podcast on Chandragupta Maurya. People need to know the genuine information on this great personality. The Internet has a lot of false information regarding him which needs to be debunked. Please make a podcast on Chandragupta Maurya.

Unfortunately, the author cannot defend his thesis. I will try to explain it based on my understanding. Kautilya never said that a rule is beyond space and time. The administration needs to know the ground it hails from and should be born from its cultural ancestry; only then can it relate to its people. The Kautilya theory of a subsidy and minimum wage is straightforward. If today the Sunderban faces a devastating cyclone, which affects the livelihood of uncountable peoples from there, then Rice and Dal need to be distributed freely but controlled. Do we need to keep on doing this for a year? No. Let's say, according to the Govt, they can do the redevelopment in not less than four months. So for these four months, the govt should exclusively transfer this benefit to this set of people. So I would like to bring your attention to two possibilities: 1. How is it possible to develop a coastal area in such a short time? With 0% corruption and near about 100% work efficiency. Because the govt needs to keep in mind that if the project extends for one more month, then the government is losing on both fronts. So, the govt needs to update its workforce from time to time-no place for abdominal fat. 2. Can an engineer who lived his entire life in metropolitan cities take this project and complete it in such a short time? No. So, we need engineers from the Sunderban area. Here we get employment opportunities for local youth. So we see subsidy creating local opportunity. Please don't go by all those research papers every time. Of course, they give us a direction, but the connection with one's soil provides a solution.

Disagree with acharya chanakya, we need a strong government in a third world country as long as it is poor . Acharya didn't probably think of India as a poor ,backward country.

Good discussion. But your guest wasn’t able to give any concrete examples of policy with dharma vs policies from west that evolved without dharma. He goes out of his way to not give examples, but is happy to theorize foundation of policies etc.

OK so here it is there is a thin line Between the Capitalist OET, Communists OET and Kautliya OET. In a Communist OET, they Fixed the Government as a Core-Centre and Rotate the Market and People’s Welfare Around that Core-Centre. (“Means Market and People’s Welfare will work for Government”) Economic Type: Heterodox Economic In Capitalist OET, They Fixed the Market as a Core-Centre and Rotate the Government and People’s Welfare Around that Core-Centre. (“Means Government and People’s Welfare will Work for Market”). Economic Type: Orthodox Economics. In Kautilya OET, They Fixed the “People’s Welfare” as a Core-Centre and Rotate the Government and Market Around that Core-center. (“Means Government and Market will Work for People’s Welfare”). Economic Type: Unknown Economic Type / New Economic Type / Kautliya Economics. So, you will find there is Market, Government and Welfare everything is Present in Communism, Capitalism as well as Kautliya-ism. the only thin line which separates them to each other is Ordering or Prioritizing.

@@pranavautade7865 bhai, look up videos on jajamani system. Based off the vedic yajaman or sponsor of the yagna. It was a duty based system in which the giver or daani is considered higher than the receiver. This system comes very naturally to Hindus and is written in our very ethos and ethics. It is non exploitative and non colonial of course unlike the various shades of western 'economy" which are just various phases of colonialism. An unincentivized duty based system that westerners can only dream of! What is motivating our youth to join army amid stuff competition? Is it just money? No no it is sense of Dharma.
