I guess I'll subscribe after all. 😄 And if you're looking for ideas, I'm in the middle of trying to get a youtube channel started myself (under a different channel name). I've been learning Davinci Resolve and working on getting myself kitted out in an entry-level sort of way--mics, headsets, etc. The techy side of this kind of startup venture seems like it offers a ton of stuff to make vids about! Oh, and I may want to stream some day (once I get a room cleared out and the patience to re-learn how to apply makeup). What do I need to set up? How do greenscreens even work? What kind of lighting will I need? Oh, and definitely what budget cameras are good? Etcetcetc...

@@exstock I’ll definitely keep that in mind for a video idea! There are tons of videos out there for green screen tutorials. And for lighting I started out with a light pan with an LED strip in it haha. Just look up what options you can afford tho and go with that. Anything to get started and you’ll learn more about it as you go and what you’ll need. As for a starter camera, I picked up the canon RP for my first camera. There are a ton of other options out now tho! I don’t know much about any other brands, just stuck with Canon since I had the lenses. I recently picked up the R6 mark 2 for my new camera.

Honestly, I've had these speakers for about 2 weeks now and I am thinking of returning them. The sound is waaaay too muddy, and you have to turn the bass completely down and treble all the way full for them to even sound half decent.

So I bet these are great for the money, however full disclosure, if you look carefully in the description it only mentions the 3 inch speakers included, there is no talk of these speakers having tweeters. So these are a pair of one-way speakers. The "tweeters" are dummy just for aesthetics. Yes, they are fake tweeters.

Fantastic review and very clear. I bought the speakers but am disappointed, perhaps due to my ignorance. They sound extremely muffled to me and do not get very loud until I go 70-90% using all modes, from Bluetooth to USB to the male to male direct headphone jack connect. Are these speakers "self-powered" or is the power only from the A/C supply? Wanted to watch movies and, while better than my laptop, the sound is muffled--perhaps due to low-cost. I am looking at the Edifier R1850DB Active Bookshelf Speakers with Bluetooth to replace them. I like bass, just not muffling. Thank you again for your excellent review and forgive my ignorance.

Oh weird ! Mine do not sound muffled. Play around with the dials on the side such as the bass. Maybe one of them can fix the issue. Also make sure they are properly plugged in. Other then that not sure buddy

I was about to pull the trigger but I canceled my order after seeing review of therm dying within 2 weeks and I'm sure it's not up to the level I'm use to I have great quality Presonus Iris E5 and I was thinking of the Mackie CR3Xbt whit edition which is a great speaker that you can even use it for content creation and music production, I'm not looking to use them for any production but mainly gaming and entertainment.

Yes it’s on the top nob, just press it til it turns blue. Then your Bluetooth should work

Dude thanks ! Really appreciate it. Sadly no you cannot plug in a pair of headphones while they are connected. You would have to plug the headphones directly into the device playing music.

Yes they work great. I would of filmed the sound quality, but you wouldn’t be able to hear how they sound threw whatever sort of speakers you have. If your watching on your phone, all you’d hear is the sound through your phone speakers.

You can buy wireless lavalier microphones for like $50. Or shotgun microphones for like $40. I have to turn my headphones up to 70% just to hear you when I normally hear everything fine at 30%. Also rather than rely on the autofocus to show off the cables just take the 10 minutes to shoot some B roll.

Hey I had those speakers for a couple of months now and I have to agree with you, the sound and quality are great!! But I keep having some issues when the sounds first comes in to the speakers. (I don’t use the Bluetooth options instead I’m using the usb connection.) I think is the stand by mode, when there no sound and then I start playing music or a video I don’t hear the first 2 seconds of it Do you have the same issue? Or do you know how to fix it?

Weird ! I have not been having these issues. I usually turn the speakers off from the back when I’m not using them. Once I turn my laptop on I connect via Bluetooth and a sound comes on then they are usually good to go. Maybe try Bluetooth see if that makes a difference. Or even the aux plug.

No issues to repot (so far). Other then the short cord. If your in the market for a cheap set of desk speakers, these will do great. You do get what you pay for tho, so don’t expect the best speakers out there. I do really like these speakers for what I use them for.
