If it was a fair round robin where every team just played every other team then the semis would pretty much be NZ teams only. The two teams that battle it out in the final should be the best two teams. Thats what the whole god damn season is for - getting the cream of the crop to rise to to the top for an epic entertaining final. The Lions will get utterly slaughtered in Christchurch. The only teams that even stand a chance are the other NZ teams (except the Blues).

The biggest issue for the final: who will be the TMO and assistant referees and how much of an impact will they have on the final. This season has be littered with inconsistencies. At least the man with the whistle is neutral.
