If you're looking for the engineers in underground ruins there aren't any, the heavy facsimiles drop the masamune g2 &g4. You can Farm the last room of the ruins by having your followers stay two rooms back and clearing it with a sniper and then running all the way back to them before fully entering the room

fried chicken Swords are high skill high reward. Just train more. I use a sniper and pistol, but the point is, just better yourself. :P

i agree with you, i mean, i'm not bad with a photon sword, it's pretty easy to hit with it actually, but using the Sword Barrier is pretty much useless if all i can do is walk forward because walking to the left or right will get me shot

The only difference between formulas is the amount of time/grinding necessary to produce them. It's just there as a sort of median as to how "badly" you want said upgrade, simply put. Formula 1 usually consists of uncommon to rare drops Formula 2 usually consists of rare to epic drops Formula 3 consists solely of enhancements themselves, and are legendary. To date that's the only correlation between the formulas I can find.

If you use formula 3 it makes the weapons a bit stronger it won’t show a difference in the number but it will do more than what it says

Rng is rng. The only thing that changes the numbers is the gear ability. The formula 1 / 2 or 3 is just multiple options to the same result

Different formulas don't make a difference in stats, its just different ways to enhance it. Weapons can only be enhanced to ++ so no it doesn't let you enhance it from rank 3 to 7

The grind will be real when I get to a boss who drops atleast a rank 5 sword. The first boss on extreme will only drop rank 4s, aka not possible to get a rank 7 off of him. Even still, a rank 6 is decent until you get that rank 7. Not to meantion this is what I've done for now. I got lucky on my legendary sword stats. Crit rate/dmg, wep dmg, and damage to all types (lifeforms, mechs, and humanoids)

It's just based off of luck and nothing else if you increase your luck stat by using a respect kit then you should get better drops or an easier time getting them

It doesn’t matter how fast you kill an enemy. It’s down to your drop rates and luck stats... you could spend two hours on a boss and get a legendary... I spent about half an hour on Extreme Concealed Genbu, and got the Legendary AMR Deathwing... Btw, how can you get the Miasma Fang to drop? Is it from the extreme mode true ending?
