Swords don't do Physical Damage, they do Melee. So the Phys ATT is useless. Weapon Attack is what you want, along with Crit Rate/Damage.

Drops like this one are awesome but this isn’t even close to the limits of a sword’s power... my character Candoran uses a sword as a mech-killing weapon; it’s got a melee power of over 1K at rank 9 and it can be enhanced to rank 10 whenever they unlock that rank (probably next DLC). It’s the next level of the Galactic Estoc, I picked it up in the Forgotten Temple on extreme difficulty.

Was it just me having bad luck or was the Dainsleif of other players still a little stronger when fully upgraded as well? I mean it only was about 10-15 damage stronger than the G1 and I now use the new one for it finally is a photon sword again and a white one at that. I'm just curious, has this occured for other players as well?

Teldarin No. It's the best sword for now. I say for now because Dainsleif++ is rank 9. It'll get powercreeped by swords that can go to rank 10.

Ventus it is dropped by a golden assault drone in the demon cave the drone will spawn in the same room as the enemy caller. (second room in dungeon) the drone has a 5% spawn rate so bring the luck god's with you.

I always grind the Weapon Manufacturing Plant. Pretty sure they haven't patched that yet.

Just find someone online to boost you in co-op or grind weapon plant or another high level area you can clear easy

Beat the 2 dlc story on extreme and a golden drone has a chance of spawning in the first room with a caller. The golden drone drops a smg. The drobe has a (chance) 2 spawn!
