First, he could have had his studio or the show, send a car, or a taxi! Jo didn't want to be in a relationship. She just wanted love but I don't think she wanted to go give it to anyone but her own self. She wouldn't have been happy married.

I watched it recently. It’s honestly my favourite adaptation ever. It’s just so cosy and lovely. Florence Pugh is a revelation and Timothée Chalamet is so so dreamy, as is Louis Garrel.

How was Louis as Friedrich? Did he have good chemistry with Saorise? And with this ambiguous ending does the audience know that Jo and Friedrich do get married, have two sons, and open up the school?

Isn't Louis Garrel the brother of the girl that Timothee had intimate moments with CMBYN?
@lifeisnow335 жыл бұрын
@@da96103 yes, his sister is Esther Garrel. In the Paris premiere for Little Women, Louis share that the first time he met Timmy, he asked Timmy "what have u been doing to my sister in cmbyn" . It was so funny

I always wish that they had included Laurie's proposal in this video, would have loved to hear Greta, Saoirse, and Timmy talk through their process for filming that scene.

You can tell that Timothee is a brilliant actor by seeing him on and off screen. He is almost the same in the way that he is subtle, awkward and dissarming all at once.

Amy in here is so innocent and then when you see her in "Economic Proposition", she's so mature. They really have good actors who can be innocent then pull on maturity. Looking forward to seeing this.

I have so much more appreciation than I already had for this movie, I wish I could hear them lay out the entire film like this. It's like watching an artist explain their process of creating a painting and going through it with them, it's so beautiful and has so much more depth and craftsmanship than I would've noticed just on my own.
@gingerprice92215 жыл бұрын
I didn't realize the amount of really deliberate craftsmanship with all of their choices -- both in terms of details like the daughters' clothing as well as production decisions like warm and cold lighting. I'm probably one of the only people on this Earth who hasn't seen _Lady Bird_, but this feature alone has made me want to watch it, because I have so much respect for Greta Gerwig after listening to her reasoning and method. The cast is brilliant, and I love how kind they are to each other and how complimentary they are of each others' talents. I can hardly wait to see this!

The film was absolutely beautiful. I watched the older "Little Women," with my brother often when we were little and so I was excited to see this one. I was blown away by the lighting, the clothing, and the detail in showing each relationship. There was so much detail in each scene and the houses and locations were beautiful. When the director said she wishes an older lady would watch it 20 times to find little things every time, lol that's me! I love movies with such beautiful detail so I will watch this movie many many times. Thank you for making such a lovely film.

Saw this movie last night at an advance screening, and I must say that it is one of my absolute favorites of the year. It's a Christmas Dinner of a movie, bursting with love, and life, and adoration for its characters. Gerwig's passion for the story jumps off the screen and convinces us all of its importance. Take your family, whoever they may be, close friends, neighbors, it doesn't matter, just grab somebody you care for and go enjoy these two hours together, you won't regret it.

greta and laura's way of talking about the film with such details makes me come back to this video and actually notice and appreciate small things in films. i just love how they point out how scripting and camerography makes dinamics and relationships much more noticeable and felt and how they talk about the specification and detail on the costumes and how it tells a larger story than what it's meant to be seen as. this video is literally the reason i love the film indutry's way of thinking.
