This song is a workout. I remember learning this song like 4 years ago and for the life of me I could never get the intro verse and bridge riff right. Now, I actually incorporate the intro and verse riff into my warm ups. Definitely helps on both right and left hand dexterity, string skipping, alt picking and muting. Anyways thanks Beau for writing these kickass riffs🤘.

This whole band is underrated and under appreciated. Ever since they came out I been doin God's work trying to let people who aren't aware know who these mfs are and how influential they were to music. They literally came up with the blueprint that so many bands followed and some garnered more success doing so. Saosin needs more love.

picking hand and classical style on left leg looks exactly like standard shredder technique (such as jason richardson). you really hold back your chops, but it's for the purpose of music. the riffs are still ahead of it's time. timeless. still impressive in 2023 as it was in 2006.

@Beau.Burchell I couldn't have said it better than @chrisamerriman....this album really is flawless. I've honestly felt that way since it first came out. Someone, can't remember who, introduced me to you guys back in 2003 when you had just gotten started and we were still looking for music on Limewire and Napster and stuff. But I was able to find the Translating the Name EP. Then this album came out with Cove and it blew my mind. Love you guys so much, I got to see you a few times when yall came down to New Orleans. But seriously, this album had a huge impact on my life and definitely got me through some hard times. Forever appreciative of that and Saosin will always hold a truly special place in my heart.
