Are the same midi patch changes sent to both quads at the same time? Meaning the scenes for each quad are the exact same, or it's there a way to send different patch changes simultaneously to each quad with only 1 usb>midi?
@Beau.Burchell6 сағат бұрын
You can watch my latest gear run through for how I do it now. But yes you can use 1 5 pin and a splitter box like I have in this video. One QC receives in midi ch 1. The other in ch 2. Then you can multiple unique changes to each QC. Hopefully that makes sense. But you will need that midi splitter box.

This is a great setup thanks for showing. 14:05 are those custom made brackets for the antennas? I'd like to put my reciever under the pedalboard aswell but have to make something to get the antennas fit on the side like this. Do you use the power supply of the pedalboard instead of the OEM adapter of the reciever, is that safe to use?
@Beau.Burchell11 күн бұрын
Yes. Sennheiser sells an antenna rack mount kit. I drilled 2 holes in the side panels and mounted them. You can easily power a QC and a Sennheiser wireless with 1 ciocks dc7
@A.A199511 күн бұрын
@@Beau.Burchell Thanks for the quick and clear response! I ordered a CIOKS SOL to fit the 12V 0,35A max power draw of my Shure QLXDH51 along with my 2 pedals. I too drilled holes in the wood and run BNC cables from the reciever to connectors mounted on the casing. No cables visible at all, just the two antennas at the back.. Aside from the instrument and power cable feed through the top the casing to the pedals ofcourse. This will be a very compact setup with your video as inspiration. Thanks again!

Ya just eq filter automation.

Why donˋt you record your Guitars direct into PT and revamp the signal ? You could Melody the guitar before revamping, which would be much more precise to get the takes right especially intonationwise ?

you can also flip the strap the other way, so that the adjustment slider is on the front, then the guitar player can always adjust his strap. they also sel replacement 4 pn cables so you can get one with a right angle, for les pauls.

If you guys add this song with “what were we made for?” and “let go control” to the set of your guy’s tour so many fans will go wild 😬👌🏻 I just hope Cove gets rest on his voice because too much straining can deteriorate it. You guys should do what Kid Laroi does on his “Stay” song when he performs live, he has parts already sung and plays with backtrack with live drums and guitar ofc, much love from California!

15 seconds in: So ARC does not have the SoundID/Sonarworks linear-phase/mixed/latency options? That's pretty dumb. I find myself jumping from one to the other pretty often, depending on what I'm doing. Anything is better than no correction..unless it makes it worse. Does the same thing happen with the hardware version?
@Beau.Burchell3 ай бұрын
I believe the 2 modes are linear phase and natural phase.
@Studio22mix3 ай бұрын
I absolutely don’t like it that you need to register your hardware in order to use it. I rather stick with REW which has much more options, if I want to use it standalone I can buy the MiniDSP which has digital inputs, four outputs and four presets. Also I can hook up and measure speakers and subs separately or have the separate outputs calibrated to the Harman target for my headphone amp. 😊
@Beau.Burchell3 ай бұрын
I’ve had the mini dsp unit as well as the larger unit when I had my big tannoy 215dmt’s. I do agree with you that the mini dsp is a superior correction device. But the latency is just not acceptable for tracking. Which is exactly why this product is perfect to fill that void in the market.
