Hello thanks for covering different tools from a visualization point of view. 1. So for proper representation in Power BI or Tableau we need to do modifications at SAP Datasphere End right? 2. But for Excel to get column descriptions what are the steps we need to do at Datasphere. Could you please provide information about that?

Yes, whatever we can do for PBI and Tableau helps for excel as well because all these 3 options we are consuming Datasphere via ODBC connection. Hope it helps

Could you please share the error message screenshot. Most probably the issue may be due to IP address and IP address should be the external/your internet providers not the one you get from ipconfig which is local.

Great video! I have a question though I was able to upload view from datasphere to power bi using the ODBC but for some reason its not brining in my associations, Do you have any suggestion on that?

Are you able to preview the data in Datasphere view / ADS? Please check you associations defined properly. Jus to test you can try without any association and check in PBI, if that works try adding one by one and test. Let me know your findings.

sorry for late response... this ip address is not the one we get in ipconfig... this is external ip address which you can find by seaching in google to find external ip address or directly use www.whatismyip.com . basically this is your ISP ip. Ex: If your using Verizon internet then verizon is ur ISP and you have to enter this ISPs ip. even if you're using any 3rd party internet service and unable to find external ip address, you can call their customer care and ask whats ur public Ip.
