Strategy 50 will have account assignment of the sales order in procurement proposals whereas 52 will not have an account assignment.

Can we use a multi-level strategy with strategy group 50? I applied strategy group 50 to the finished material and strategy group 10 to the semi-finished material. I want the system to generate a planned order for the semi-finished material during the MRP run so that it can be used in production. However, when I apply strategy group 50 to the finished material, it automatically applies to the semi-finished material. Please help correct this issue.

Here i have a doubt...along with collective indicator 2... 1.do we need to maintain any planning strategy for SFG for in house planning... 2.collective indicator 2 is also for RM,to get procurement proposals after MRP run without sale order for FG

Planning strategy is not required for SFG. It is only for FG. Collective 2 is only for components SFG/RM if stock should be consumed from unrestricted stock.

Hello... Few doubts in this strategy- 1.What is the main advantage of this strategy - anyhow we cannot convert planned order to production order for child component. 2. Is this strategy helps only for sourcing products to get sourced well in advance? 3. Assume PIR is for 20 qty and order received is for 50 qty - how do we deal with remaining 30 qty? 4. The sourced items will move to restricted or unrestricted stock. - Can we still use items from unrestricted stock if strategy 50 is maintained?
