@@SAPwithIK Sir Other videos are too awesome, Suppose my company manufactured FG product, after manufacturing FG Product, sales person create sales order and dispatched the material of any batch, so can i lock in system that after creation of sales order, system pick automatically those batch which are manufactured first (FIFO method). is it any tricks in batch management theory? Batch number must be configure automatically at the time of creation of production order and the same batch will pick first (which is created first) when sales person create sales order or outbound delivery

Hi, thanks for watching. Yes the FIFO strategy can be applied in SD batch determination strategy. You can apply this strategy while creating the delivery document. Check V/CL for delivery and V/C5 for sales order.

Settings that were shown in production scheduling profile are for auto batch creation of Header material right? In MRP view we have batch key to enable batch determination during order creation or release for component material?

Thanks for the feedback. Sure will do. QM with EWM is a bit different from IM. There is change in the Inspection lots creation process but the execution part has changed. You can perform UD on inspection lot but cannot post stock from QI to Unrestricted. This should be managed via Inbound/outbound deliveries created in EWM.

Yes of course, under the condition that the RM is always batch managed irrespective of the FG’s it will be used in.

first, I wanna thank you for your amazing explanation, and i've an inquiry please: the sort rule is created based on 3 characteristics and also you define the value range for each one, but the system determines the batch "000000121" for the first material based on the expiration date in ascending and > 01.01.2021 as defined in sort rule although the value of second char. is 88% and the defined range in sort rule 95 - 100 % , should the system ignore this batch as it doesn't achieve all characteristics conditions ? or I have misunderstand ?

For the first material, two batches, for the second material, 6 batches. And how did the system determine that this party has 88 percent, that the other party has 90 percent, and so on?

That would be based on the batch strategy and selection criteria.
