Actually not too much. It's a pretty dark sounding pedal to my ears. You got to set the tone pretty high to get a "unity" tone out of it.

i have this kmise but too dark tone you have somehow? actually is great i use as vintage sound tube with just a little gain and 100% level and 75% tone

Hey I kinda use it in a similar way, it is to me a pretty dark sounding pedal, I can't really use it with tone under 6 or 7. But then... man for the price that's quite a beast of an overdrive pedal. VERY close to my EHX Glove and my (now sold) OCD v2.
