Been following this series and liked it so far. But this latest episode was a bit too much without warning. Especially with family sitting around and me trying to explain that I promise I'm listening to islamic talks. Maybe censor some words so the adults can understand but children don't get any ideas.

Ive been listening to this series and its been very interesting. However you seriously dropped the ball with this one. You talk about current affairs then seem to forget that the Muslims want to help Palestine. They are being prevented by the governments and armies of the Muslim countries. You slandered the groups by making sweeping statements about them as if they are a bunch of crazy hillbillies fighting for worldy gain.

The incident of the Quraish sending an envoy to plead with Najashi to return the Sahaba was a profound moment in the history of Islam. The Quraish tried to employ propaganda by labelling the Muslims as anti Christian group who would cause turmoil in Axum. This is an interesting aspect to consider particularly in light of some of the recent arguments pro Zionist’s are circulating about Muslim communities. Some of the reports also documents the wisdom the Sahaba deployed by refuting these claims by carefully reciting from from Surahs praising Issa (as) so as to reassure the Habasha nobles. As for the route of Hijra, the reports indicate the journey was made from Ashuaiba using a merchant ship. The Quraish were already travelling to Habasha ports to collect items to trade and in return sell items form Syria and Iraq to them. Incense was an important component of this trade. The land of Habasha, though it was not their homeland, was not a completely alien people or territory to the Arabs. Ancient Yementies had settled and mixed with the Habasha tribes many centuries prior to the Hijra. At one point before Christianity, the Habashat kingdoms were worshipping the same idols as Sabaens on the other side of the Red Sea. Tigrinya and Amharic are both Semitic languages. Arabic poetry is said to have been influenced by Ethiopian poetry in some ways. Semetic Ethiopia loan words are found in Arabic. Prior to the Islamic era, the Habshat were often mentioned as tribes and peoples fighting with/and allying with Yemeni rulers. The Quraish themselves were allied to another tribal alliance known as Alhabisha. The axumites also took slaves from neighbouring pagan peoples in the Sudan/Western Ethiopia and most likely sold them to Arab traders. These people and their descendants would have been known as “Habasha” in the Arab world even though they weren’t Abysnians in the real sense of the world. Some of the blacks also found in pre Islamic Arabia were also most likely remnants of previous Ethiopian armies/mercenaries who remained behind stretching back to thousands of years.

@@lahleholivia7398 The Masjid is mentioned by it's name and Allah is talking about the Children of Israel and at the same time teaching the Muslims and anyone who is reading the Quran. The lesson is if a nation gets arrogant and tyrannical they will fall. As I said you probably won't like it because you are probably looking for exact name and stories without the moral lesson.
