Went there in July’23. What a wonderful place. Purchased the Mother Load Bag. The staff was were so kind and helpful. The mountain itself had a very healing energy. Met Rex one of the owners. He taught us a great deal about the area and took us for a short drive to a scenic view. Took some beautiful pictures. I highly recommend this place. We had choices, many do the locals spoke well of this place. Wonderful Experience!! Still working on my bag.

Yes! This is so fun! So glad that you did an episode on this. I always knew that Montana had sapphire mines, but never really knew how or where to go for this!

No cost to access the main place - you just drive up, buy a bag for $50-$100, and start mining! It costs more to self-mine at their sites up in the mountains.

I drove over 600 miles to this place, closed, but the store was open, bought a couple bags, not even one stone! I’m a collector and wanted to add to my collection, I also facet my own, I was pretty disappointed, I could have bought stones for what I paid for just gravel! Good luck tourist

How many natives were murdered or starved for this la d to be stolen and acted upon as though nothing of the sort happened? Crazy how that works. . .
