Ahh, okok. You could download the rom file, and mod your rom with the same memory straps then. But I would definitely not use the same ROM file with my sapphire pulse cards.

Ok as I see in the comments this mod seems to work. I've got 6 of these RX 580 and I've got a few newbie questions. 1) Do I need to do this with only 1 card running on the rig? (the other 5 not plugged) 2) Do I need to do this with all my 6 cards (one at the time) or just this configuration works for all after I plug the other 5 cards? 3) For this to work I have to mine using windows? or simplemining will do work after it? 4) Do I need to switch the "Bios Switch" of the GPU? Hey Buried! Thanks for your videos, as always! I am having a serious issues with all my new Sapphire rigs, I am using this mod on my GPUs and they reach high speeds but I cant mine for more than a few seconds, even at speeds of 23-26 Mh/s (I cant even mine with stock settings and never-modded-GPUs). I am using Win 10 pro (UEFI) up to date, Biostar TB250 BTC (updated), Processor i3 7100, 8gb Ram 2400mhz, 1200 watts for 6x Nitro+ 580 8gb Hynix mem (I have the same issue even with a single gpu connected), tried drivers ver 17.5.2 and latest without mod. Most of the times I get the THREAD STUCK IN DEVICE DRIVER and TDR Blue screen problem, or the ataidlxx.dll issue. Also tried DDUing and reinstalling the mixed driver over and over. Always using Caymore DM. Already increased the virtual memory to 16gb. Processor temp is always nice and cold. I am really running out of ideas here, sorry for making you read this long post, but I really need your help.

I am able to reach 30+Mh/s with AMD's 17.7.2 driver using msi afterburner 4.4.0 beta version but I am unable to modify the voltage of the card despite having checked the checkbox in the seetings. I was wondering what version of msi afterburner were you using since the video shows 4.3.0 but the layout seems different. I tried using the same version of AMD driver 17.7.1 and MSI but I couldn't control the fan speed/voltage

I have 3 of these exact cards, the bios mod I've done previously gives just over 28mh each card. I tried your bios from the video on one of the 3 cards and it's between 26-27MH. I'm going to check the other 2 but I just wanted to let you know that YMMV.

Thanks very much for the tutorial it boosted me indeed from 22.25 MH/s to 28.3 MH/s, but my rig sometimes turns off alone by itself.....:( what did I do wrong ? btw I had to flash each card separately because when I had them all plugged in and I flashed the rom only 1 card got boosted the rest remained the same so 1 by 1 I unplugged all and flashed them one by one ? did I screw it up ?

First of all thanks for the effort. I am using the exact GPU which you showed here. I have a problem which many people couldn't solve. I am using your Bios and i reached 27 Mh stable but with Radeon Wattman i set my CPU to -4.5 and Memory to 2220 Fan speed is Min 2039 Max 3003. Now i have to use Radeon Wattman because no other program is working when i am using them for over clock. After this i am getting stable 30Mh. But here is the problem when i try to dual mine the Ethereum is fluctuating from 15-21 max and Siacoin @750 max. I am using the default config file from Nanopool for dual mining. So nothing is changed in config file. I really need here. No other software is overclocking all GPU. I can't dual mine on decent speed. Using your bios with Exact same GPU.

Dual mining isn't worth it. Look closely at the Wattage. Between the wear and tear on the card, the extra 1% for Claymore, and the extra power you aren't making anything extra. Why do you think Claymore pushes the dual mining so much? He's making twice the fee!

Will this work on the Sapphire Nitro 8gb Special Edition(the blue one)? GPUZ shows Hynix mem but if I try polaris auto straps it detects Hynix and Samsung mem.. Polaris auto straps caused issues with the card so I put the original bios back into it for now.

you cannot damage your card, if it does not like the overclock it will crash, the only danger is bricking your card, but that can be fixed as well if that happens, theres a program for it. if its stable it will simply work and not crash, unstable will crash.

hi bro, I tested it on windows 10, with driver AMD beta driver blockchain, and it worked perfectly (31MHS), but when I tried to lower the core voltage, I would not allow it, I thought it was the driver, so I changed it to another rig with windows 10 and a more recent driver, 17.xxx but it was all worse, I could do the under voltage, but I did not work the bios mod, it only worked at 22 mhs in ETH, I put it back in the previous rig and it worked the mod again (31.8 MHS), but I can not do the under voltage (this rig has W10 with AMD beta blockchain driver), how did you manage to make the under voltage and bios mod work in the same rig, which amd driver is using . ?

I flushed wrong bios. Sapphire send me original one. they said flip bios button to right when facing fans for performance mode. No one is know what is the meaning of performance mode. I watch and read maybe 100+ videos but I believe it a secret. No one explain any think. That is interesting and I still can not flush factory settings. Because when you flush your rx580 it makes Rom checksum changes and you can never going back again. Your windows and drivers not work for your gpu anymore if you flush back to original bios. It change some hex codes and it is really very hard to find true code to fix it.

Hi, I just received my Sapphire Nitro+ RX580 8GB today and did some test running 1411/2000 defaulting settings and got only 21M/0.635GH/s (DaggerSia (Claymore)) using ReLive 17.8.2. Downloaded your Modded BIOS and programmed my card, and it now reached only 22M/0.667G H/s. Are there some more steps that I had not followed? Not getting anywhere near to 30MH/s as you mentioned. First time modding AMD RX GPU, any advice is appreciated. Thanks

Not an efficent BIOS as you said. You should bring this card to around 90-100 watts and have a 30MH/s. I cannot recommend this video.
