To be quite fair, the Pulse seemed to just boost a bit higher because it had a more aggressive fan curve out of the box. @MachinesMore3 жыл бұрын
Thermals are dependent on fan speed, case, and ambient temp. On the surface though those temps aren’t “overheating” per se since that isn’t necessarily a bad temp for a GPU. Also if it was a problematic card then the seller should have just RMA’d it. Are you happy with your card’s performance? Even if one were faulty it doesn’t means yours is.

At the power level the 6600XT or even the 6700XT is operating I don't think the Nitro+ is worth it over the Pulse. If you go beyond to the high end cards id probably get a Nitro+ for the bigger cooler and potentially superior VRM. I don't believe in getting a Nitro+ for maybe 50-100mhz better clock speeds if you overclock really hard. That can be silicon variance withing the Pulse or Nitro+ SKU itself. I mean we see that the Pulse boosted higher. But I absolutely recommend getting a Pulse over the base model Sapphire offers. That lineup doesn't even have a name the just call it "RX6700" instead of RX6700 PULSE" for example. The basemodel has pretty noisy fans compared to the higher end Pulse and Nitro.
