I thought that Sara's "live" version was truly exceptional and she sung it with passion and maturity. Of course young Lucy's version is remarkable by any standards, her voice has a very special quality that really sets her apart. I honestly believe that Lucy is destined to become an international superstar.

It was good to see the "play" version because I never saw Waitress. What always gives me chills is when I look at a 14 year old Lucy and her beautiful voice just doesn't fit her obvious youth. Really liked seeing both! Good choices.

Dimitri was right to ask for her live because it shows you there are no “bells and whistles” added in the studio that changes what she can do! This is agreat song .Two totally different takes .Sara´s Version was excellent and done on stage .Lucy at 14 did an amazing job to be able to show such emotion at this age is incredible and her voice is just beautiful.I have heard Lucy sing this many times live She sang it at her London concert .Now her voice is so much more mature .Lucy has the ability to bring her audience into her song no matter what she sings.Its a pity that you didn´t play Lucy´s Live version But it makes no difference to me She is phenominal.

Some more I’m not familiar with but now I am. Such beautiful voices. Watching people grow up on utube can make you feel older faster (Lucy). Enjoyed this. A much different song came into my head when I saw this. The cars, ‘ my best friends girl’. The part “she use to be mine”. Might just look that up tonight. But I’ve wondered off once again. Hello Jeff, Sara Bareilles," She Used To Be Mine " first time I have seen this lady live on stage, I was so very impressed with her passion & emotion to this song, Lucy cover of this song when she was 14 or 15 years old was also so very impressive for her being such a young age, I would like Lucy to remake a new cover of this song now that she is now all grown up, musical theatre is Lucy's forte. Wow! what a show. Sara was awesome. I wish I could have seen that live. Standing ovation here. On to Lucy. How does a 14 year old project such emotion? She was born to be on stage. Looks, sublime vocal skills, and a soul made for storytelling. She doesn't just sing a song. She gets in one, like it's a part of her. Were going to find the few who are going to say studio, autocrap all the usual. But in this case Lucy did this live at a small charity event - search for it as Lucy Thomas charity event -- I'll try to add a link I'll call lucy above this comment. Send the skeptics to this, or view yourself for a treat. Watch a bubbly very English girl turn into a storytelling siren in front of your eyes. She was 15 here. Lovely performances from both singers and Lucy only aged14 . I saw a young lady on x factor several years ago , it was a disgusting disgrace how she was eliminated . What can you say about Sara...she's just a great singer/actress. That was a superb performance. Close your eyes and Lucy is a full grown woman. She never disappoints. I'd love to hear all grown up, actress Lucy perform that song again.
