Karachi is kept chaotic on purpose. Punjabigardi is ruining Pakistan. Police for all provinces is hired from Punjab ( he shied away from telling the truth). Over 50% government jobs are hired from Punjab. The CEO of all big businesses is a Punjabi General. So many Kachi, Sindhi businessmen have left the country due to these policies. They are now settled in Malaysia USA, and Singapore and contributing to its economic growth. The water shortage in Karachi is done purposely so bahadur fauj can sell water in tankers. I bet you didn't know the water tanker industry is owned by the army. It will also push the locals to buy houses in army defense schemes. KPK is being bombed since late 80's. The plan is to kick the locals out and replaced the region with trained terrorists from Yemen, Somalia, India, Bengladesh, Punjab, Sudan etc. Those 1000's of homeless people either run towards Afghanistan or are sent to Karachi. Same is true for Baloch. Flood victims are also placed in Karachi . This is how Punjabi fauj keeps friction inside karachi, to control it. Whenever there is a political crises, fauj will initiate a couple of city killings which will lead to ethnic riots. Anyhow, these are old strategies and can't have long term effects. The 3rd world countries are changing due to information media and exposure to the system of western countries. For how long fauj will ban youtube, internet and abduct, beat, kill people etc. Without equality, justice, peace and prosperity cities can't develop and if cities are not developing countries can't develop. In the end this fauj will have to start using its looted money on the civilians.

We have built new cities within cities. For example Bahria Town Karachi which is 195km^2. We're not expanding vertically but rather horizontally using precious land for unnecessary elite class housing socieites.

That’s very true. A circular road around the city is meant to prevent the city from expanding beyond the boundary. In Lahore, construction DHA Phase 6, 7 and 8 has resulted in even more severe horizontal urban sprawl to the point that it has swallowed 8 villages that are now surrounded by single/two family villas of DHA. At this rate, DHA Phase 10 will have the Indian border as their backyard. All this space could have been MUCH better utilized by creating forest reserves to increase green cover, incentivize multifamily living, vertical farming to feed the growing population and the list goes on.

I went to Karachi in April from Manchester because I really wanted to experience the foods of Karachi. To my surprise the food was amazing, people really hospitable and security as same as lahore or other cities. Maybe it was that we were guests and staying at Pc but still i had a very positive experience of karachi.

Bro, local politicians are to be blamed for this mess. I am a second generation Lahori as my grandfather migrated to Lahore from Jalandhar in 1947. During my life I haven't seen Lahore being as dirty or messed up as Karachi, no hate towards the people of Karachi as we all are citizens of the same country. But honestly, during Usman Buzdar's reign as CM Punjab, Lahore literally became dirty and messy just like Karachi. Reason was CM Punjab's bad management and neglection towards the city. But as soon as the CM was changed, the first thing the new CM did was cleaning the city. Same goes for Karachi or any other metropolitan city around the world. Only local politicians can clear the mess and make strict rules to keep the city clean from litter or any kind of violence etc. Citizens always behave like they are careless and irresponsible, they only surrender in front of law and rules that are set up by the provincial govt and the city management. And bro, Lahore's population includes a lot of settlers from around the province and even from all over the country now. But they are bound to follow rules that are intact and are monitored by the authorities. Traffic is an exception though.

The city is close to bordering Raiwind, a city that was 35km away from Lahore two to three decades ago. The concerns I have for my city Lahore add up. We should focus on local politics just as much as the federal. Cuz it is the people of the Karachi and Lahore municipality that make decisions, visions and plans for the city - not someone in Islamabad.

Poore Sindh or Balochistan me koi dhang ka hospital nhi ha. Raaste me zakhmi he mar jaate hyn. Interior sindh or south punjab me to logon ka aik he life purpose hota ha k buss Karachi jana ha.
